Senior PHP Developer - London

Senior PHP Developer: Temp to perm £240- £280 per day
An opportunity for a talented PHP developer to join a team of c. 8 software engineers at an innovative and fast-paced company. Candidates must demonstrate a deep knowledge of all elements comprising the LAMP stack (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP), with particular expertise in PHP 4 & 5. Strong OOD & OOP skills are essential, as is experience working with web services and XML technologies.
The ideal candidate will also possess experience in the migration of applications and large data sets. An understanding of high-traffic architectures and distributed data storage techniques is a strong advantage. Competence in Python, C++ and JavaScript will also be appreciated.
Required Qualifications/Experience:
- University degree in Computer Science, or related discipline
- 3+ years of experience in PHP 4 & 5, MySQL, Apache 2 & Linux
- Strong OOD & OOP skills
- Expert in web services & XML
- Eligibility to live and work in the UK (proof required)>

C++ platform programmer: Temp to perm £260- £310 per day
An opportunity for a C++ developer to join a team of c. 8 software engineers at an innovative and fast-paced company.
Candidates must have a strong mathematical background and at least 3 years of experience implementing reporting engines, statistical analyses and/or matching technologies.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate expertise in searching and sorting algorithms, and a keen understanding of computational complexity.
Experience with high-performance web-services, high-availability Linux-based architectures, and an awareness of the principles that inspire service-oriented architectures will also be essential. Knowledge of PHP 5, Python, MySQL, XML & XSD are a strong additional advantage.
Required Qualifications/Experience:
- University degree in Computer Science, or numerical discipline
- Minimum 3 years C++ experience as quantitative/platform/AI developer
- Expertise in high-performance, scalable implementation of computationally intensive algorithms
- Expertise in high-availability, Linux-based web services
- Eligibility to live and work in the UK (Proof required)
